07:14 am a_hollow_year [Link]	I went to someone's house and their trashcan was all full of ants and my first thought was 'why are they throwing away so many ants?' Things that happened this week: The person with whom my brother-in-law was supposed to be rooming in Vegas was evicted through no fault of his own, so now the BiL is camped out in our guestroom. I started my compost heap. Went full bore vegetarian. Sold my old house. Wrestled with a butternut squash and the squash won, slicing my finger open and requiring two stitches (so the BiL was a blessing in disguise as he was kind enough to drive me to the ER). Acquired Koromaru and took him for his first walkie. Had the floor installed in the study and it is SWEET Got bit by a horse. Next week imma go hang out in LV myself. Hopefully I won't be mauled by a lion or have to house war refugees or need a foot amputated before then. Current Mood: indescribable Current Music: Save Ferris - Come On Eileen

12:29 pm celticoak [Link]	No time at all Try planning the expenses of a 3 month trip, arrange all the visa requirements for said trip, catch the flu again, pass a kidney stone and visit family members you haven't seen in over 6 months and we'll see how much time you've got left to breathe. sighs I've been absent for many days but not because I want to. Whatever happened to those carefree days when you could spend all the time you wanted online doing nothing and reading fanfiction? I miss those days terribly. ;____; Still, my trip is getting closer and closer... which makes me get ever more psyched over it as time goes by. Woooot! 8D Meme for you... again. It's Laurell's hypocrisy that bothers me, for she manifestly doesn't believe some of this and creatively interprets other bits. Also, someone will have to fix the tags, since I'm not sure how this would be categorized. Apparently, readers have decided that Guilty Pleasures deserves #87 on the list of the top 100 novels of all time. Granted, I liked Guilty Pleasures. It was before Anita was the Gaping Crotch of Doom, and the stories actually had plot. But I don't think it was one of the top 100 novels of all time. So, Lashers, what do you think? And I didn't even need to read the other books! Now, seriously, I found this link in the Amazon forums. It's a sort of "Mistral's Kiss in 15 minutes" and it's great. I laughed so, so much. I'm not sure if this is already somewhere in lkh_lashouts, but I didn't find it anywhere.
