Some people are just idiots, and have no idea what they're saying. Have you ever read one of those horribly written fanfictions that make you cringe just to think about them? Yeah, well, those same people who write that stuff review other people's stuff, too. *shudders* So, to the people who can't write character development, it's probably hard for them to read it, as well.

Then again, some people just have no appreciation for good literature. *shakes head*

But yeah, it's understandable to be angry. I mean, you just spent a lot of hard work writing things that are vitally important to your story, and someone just completely blows it off. Though, I have no idea what they meant by the 'now the story can get good.' I, personally, think it's good already! What more do they want? Mindless fluff that makes no sense whatsoever? I think a story is infinitely more professional when a character's interactions actually mean something. Arh...

...And now I'm ranting. Sorry, when I have an opinion, it tends to leak out in the most annoying of ways. Don't let that person's review get to you, and if it happens again, ignore it. Something I like to do when getting a bad comment or harsh advice from someone is to look up their profile, and read just what kind of stuff they write. If it's crappy, I laugh it off. If they're decent writers, I take what they say into account.

(And I can't wait to see the drawing you have planned for your fiction! Gaasaku art makes me sigh...*grins*)

You know, you are so right, about the idiots, and bad fanfic they write. I just got another, umm... -interesting- comment today... lookie lookie -> "umm. will you continue this story? I find it mildly interesting. Please?"

Now... I suppose that they could be being sarcastic or something like that, and sarcasm doesn't translate well through the net, but still! I mean ARGH... It hasn't even been three weeks since I last updated... It's almost anti-motivational.

(But setting that frustration aside, I have blocked out this weekend to hopefully get some quality writing done! Now that my picture's drawn, when I look at it I want to write and write, until I can get to that scene. :D )

you have every right to be angry. you've put a lot of effort and research into your story and comment's like those are repulsive. The line in the second chapter about that sword, i looked it up and learned something new!

(to refer to a literary work or play within a work or play is called an allusion, which you probably knew but i wanted to say it anyway)

I feel your pain because i once had to write a short story for a creative writing class, i put so much work into it, the people in my class all said "wow that story was nice, if you want my help i can make it better!" (their stories were rip offs of TV shows)

I also like how you did the dessert journey, in most fics it's like a day. DESSERTS A HUGE FREAKING WASTELANDS WHERE PEOPLE DIE....A LOT! but you looked up survival tips in books! WHO DOES THAT! a true author thats who! you have great talent. don't let what others think or say stop you from being amazing..cause...they smell.......bad... (lolz XD)
